Yes! For shorter jobs like window tint, you’re welcome to wait in our customer lounge. For longer installs, most customers drop off their vehicles.
We serve Montrose customers as well as vehicle owners from nearby towns like Delta, Grand Junction, and surrounding areas. All installs must be completed in our shop.
No. All work is done in our Montrose shop to ensure the cleanest, most controlled environment for flawless results.
It depends on the service:
- Window Tinting: 1–4 hours
- PPF (Clear Bra): 1–3 business days
- Ceramic Coatings: 1–2 weeks
We’ll give you a time estimate after inspecting your vehicle and confirming your service.
For tint and PPF, we can usually get you in quickly. For ceramic coatings, we recommend scheduling 1–2 weeks in advance since only our certified technicians perform these installs.
The fastest way is by phone at 1-970-650-8102. You can also stop by our shop to book in person. At this time, we do not take online bookings.
Walk-ins are welcome for estimates only. All services — whether it’s window tinting, paint protection film, or ceramic coatings — require an appointment so we can reserve the right amount of time for your vehicle.
For the first 7 days after application, avoid washing your car, exposing it to harsh chemicals, or using automatic car washes. Allow the coating to fully cure before routine care. After that, you’ll enjoy easy maintenance and a stunning finish.
Yes! Applying Ceramic Pro PPF over your clear bra or paint protection film adds extra slickness, gloss, and hydrophobic properties, making your PPF even easier to clean.
Absolutely. Ceramic Pro coatings are available for glass, plastics, wheels, calipers, leather, vinyl, and fabric. These surfaces benefit from added protection, easier cleaning, and a longer lifespan.
Yes. To keep your warranty valid, Ceramic Pro requires a yearly inspection and reapplication of a topcoat sealant ($250). This ensures the coating continues performing at peak levels. Routine hand washing with pH-neutral soaps is recommended.
Ceramic coatings guard against:
- Fading and oxidation from UV rays
- Bird droppings, tree sap, tar, and bugs
- Road salts and harsh Colorado weather
- Minor scratches and swirl marks
- Dirt and grime, thanks to the slick hydrophobic layer
Traditional waxes and sealants last only a few months and require constant reapplication. Ceramic Pro is a permanent nanoceramic coating that bonds with your paint. It offers superior scratch resistance, UV protection, hydrophobic properties, and a deep gloss finish that wax can’t match.
Full ceramic coating installs typically take 1–2 weeks, depending on the prep work needed, package chosen, and curing time. This process includes paint decontamination, coating application, and quality checks to ensure the finish is flawless.
Depending on the package you choose and proper maintenance, Ceramic Pro coatings can last from 1 year up to a lifetime. Bronze packages are designed for shorter-term protection, while Gold and Platinum packages provide lifetime warranties when annual maintenance is completed.
Yes. SunTek PPF is designed to hold up across a wide range of climates, both intense heat and cold. As long as you follow care recommendations, the film retains its performance in harsh weather.
SunTek PPF is designed to be applied over original factory paint. If the paint is fresh or has been repainted, there may be a waiting period (often about 30 days) to allow for paint curing / outgassing. Installation over aftermarket paint or freshly repaired panels may affect warranty.
The film is covered by a manufacturer’s limited warranty (terms vary based on the product line). Warranties generally cover issues like yellowing, bubbling, and cracking. Be sure to check which warranty applies for the particular SunTek film you choose.
Yes. It’s best done by a professional SunTek installer. The recommended removal method is lifting the film at a 45º angle towards you, ideally with a steamer in cold conditions to soften the adhesive, so removal leaves minimal residue.
No, not under normal use. SunTek’s film is protected against yellowing thanks to its top-coat layer. Altered Black and other specialty versions are also warrantied against discoloration.
Yes, PPF needs regular but easy care. Wait about 7 days after installation before washing your car. Hand washes with mild soap and soft cloths are best. Waxing once or twice a year (non-abrasive wax) helps maintain gloss. Avoid automatic car washes or high-pressure jets near film edges.
Paint Protection Film is a transparent urethane film applied to the vehicle’s paint. SunTek’s PPF has a specially formulated top coat, enabling it to self-heal surface scratches using heat (sunlight, warm panels, warm water), while protecting against rock chips, road debris, environmental stains, and UV damage.
It depends on how much coverage you want. Smaller projects (front bumper, hood, mirrors) typically take 1–3 business days. Full-body or wrap jobs may take a bit longer, pending inspection.
Here’s how to care for your tint:
- Wait at least 24–48 hours before rolling windows down or cleaning from the inside to ensure the film has fully adhered.
- Use a mild, ammonia-free cleaner and soft cloths to clean the tinted glass.
- Keep sharp objects away from the edges; avoid abrasive cleaning tools.
Absolutely. We work on all makes and models — sedans, trucks, SUVs, Teslas, exotics, classics. We’ve done full installations on hard-to-tint vehicles, including more challenging vehicles like Teslas.
Yes — service installs require appointments. You can schedule by calling our office at 1-970-650-8102. Walk-ins are welcome only for estimates.
Yes, but there are regulations. Laws vary by state/city for how dark you can tint front side windows, rear windows, and windshields. We always help you choose a shade that stays within local laws, but you also are responsible to know what’s allowed on your vehicle.
Shade percentages reflect how much visible light is allowed through the tint. A lower percentage means darker tint (more privacy, more heat/UV blocking). For example:
- 5% = very dark (max privacy, less visibility from outside)
- 15–20% = medium-high darkness
- 30% = lighter, more light allowed inside
Depending upon your local regulations, certain shades may or may not be legal for specific windows.
No — all of our premium films are non-metalized and non-conductive. They are designed to reject heat and UV rays without messing with your car’s electronics, keyless entry, GPS, or phone signals.
We use Llumar films that include a lifetime warranty covering issues like fading, peeling, cracking, or the tint turning purple.
It depends on the size of your vehicle and how many windows you want tinted. Two front windows typically take about an hour. A full sedan can take up to 4 hours.
